Rep. John E. Davis sent me an email a few minutes ago to inform me that SB 855 was dead. This was the bill passed in the Senate that would open the door to raising taxes on gasoline by as much as 15 cents per gallon statewide and 10 cents per gallon locally.
Please feel free to join us at our monthly meetings held on the Third Tuesday of each month at the Harris County Courthouse Annex 16603 Buccaneer, Houston, Texas in the courtroom upstairs. We start with a social gathering at 7:00 pm and the meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
